By using SMSPLs gateway to terminate sms messages to New Zealand you are agreeing to the terms of use below.

Service 1 – Dedicated Short Code. DSC

Registration Requirements

Supply End Customer Legal Name, Customer Brand Name/s and Address.

Supply examples of messages for different purposes

Each originating end customer or Application Name must have their own short code

Allowable Traffic

Marketing (with OptIn Database), OPT and Alert.    Marking traffic must comply with NZ anti spam laws.

Short Code Setup Option

  • Standard – recipient pay 20 cent NZ to reply (can only be used for OTP and Alert Traffic)
  • Fee to End User – Short code owner changed for MO message. (must be used for Marketing)

Message Requirements

Message OA must be set to the Short Code Provided.

Message content must match examples provided.  New purposes may be registered if required

In order to minimise the risk of a short being cancelled it is recommended that the company brand name is in included in all messages sent.  This is only a recommendation not a requirement.

General

If your short code is cancelled by a carrier you will need to register a new code to continue messaging.  This includes paying for a new code registration fees.

This service supports reply messaging.

Service 2 – Partial Dedicated Short Code Service. PDSC

The service uses Standard Numbers – ie User pays to reply – MO cost to you is zero

Registration Requirements

Supply End Customer Legal Name, Customer Brand Name/s and Address

Supply examples of messages for different purposes

Each end customer application name must be separately registered.

The service uses Standard Numbers – ie User pays to reply – MO cost to you is zero

Allowable Traffic

OPT and Alert.   Marking is strictly NOT allowed.

Message Requirements

Message OA must be set to the Short Code that we provide to you. A different one for each Registration

Message content must match examples provided.  New purposes may be registered if required.

The sending Customer that the number is registered for must be identifiable in the message content.

General Requirements

If your messaging does not match the approved allowable use and a shared short code is cancelled, you will be charged either 200 Euro or $300 AUD depending on your agreed currency of payment.

If your dedicated number with Vodafone is cancel and you wish to keep messaging for your registered customer you will have to register a new service with us and pay the registration fee.

This services support reply messaging –  MO message will also be forward to you with the DA equaling the OA of your MT message as sent to us.

Service 3 – Shared Short Code Service

Monthly Cost – no charge

Setup Cost no charge

Setup Time Frame. 48 hours

Registration Requirements

Supply End Customer Legal Name, Customer Brand Name/s and Address

Supply examples of messages for different purposes

Each end customer must be separately registered.  The customer name must be registered with us for the Source Address. Also the message content must contain your registered source address in the body of the message.

Allowable Traffic

OPT and Alert.

Message Requirements

Message OA must be set to the Originating End Customer or Application Name that we return you after Registration. A different name will be provided for each registration one for each Registration

Message content must contain the exact string of the OA.  Case does not matter.

We white List all OA and block all messages from non whitelisted OAs.

Message content must match examples provided.  New purposes may be registered if required.

Message Volume must not exceed 20,000 per month per registered OA. once this volume is exceeded you must register for PDSC service – Service Option 2

General Requirements

If your messaging does not match the approved allowable use for the registered customer and a short code is cancelled you will be charged either 200 Euro or $300 AUD depending on your agreed currency of payment.

This service supports reply messaging –  MO messages will also be forward to you with the DA equalling the OA of your MT message as sent to us.
